Phares to EWTN's Raymond Arroyo on the Lost Spring: "The US Administration couldn't project the Arab Spring, partnered with wrong forces, was badly advised"

In an interview on EWTN with Raymond Arroyo, host of the World Over Program, Dr Walid Phares discussed his new book "The Lost Spring: US Policy in the Middle East and Catastrophes to Avoid." Phares, a Transatlantic Parliamentary executive said "unfortunately the US Administration did abandoned the Iranian youth uprising in 2009, partnered with the Muslim Brotherhood, did not project the Arab Spring; and when latter began as civil societies rising against totalitarianism and extremists, Washington sided with the Islamists instead of the moderates and liberals." Phares said "the Administration was and is badly advised on Middle East policies and need to implement a massive change, before more catastrophes occur in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, and Iran."
