Phares in Al Hilal: "Official Washington is unified against Jihadists and Iran regime"

In an interview with al Hilal al Yom, Dr Walid Phares said "there are no divisions in Washington among officials regarding fighting the Jihadists and containing Iran's regime."

In an interview with al Hilal al Yom, Dr Walid Phares said "there are no divisions in Washington among officials regarding fighting the Jihadists and containing Iran's regime."

He argued that "when it comes to pushing back against the Jihadi ideology, fighting ISIS and al Qaeda and pushing back against Iran's expansion in the region, officials are unified and under the leadership of the Administration and Congress. Despite their disagreements on many things, both political parties agree on the fact that Jihadism needs to be confronted."

Phares said "some media in the region are trying to imply that Washington is divided on how the Arab Muslim coalition is working on isolating the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran's regime. Reality is that the Administration has one voice and one direction regarding the push back against extremists."
