Dr Walid Phares to Fox News Channel: "There is one common root to all the Jihadi attacks, its the ideology"

Phares argued that "the one common denominator to all these attacks and what inspires them, should they be in Europe or North America, is the Jihadi ideology. The question is how to confront it." He noted that the Bush Administration tried to counter it but was obstructed by the opposition as of 2006, the Obama Administration went into another direction ignoring the ideology, and the Trump Administration decided to counter it again, but the opposition is back to block that move. The problem is in Washington's political divisions"
