In an interview with BBC Arabic TV Dr Walid Phares said: "The Obama administration is bringing many US companies to Cuba to do business but the Cuban partners are all controlled by the regime. The flow of cash -as in Iran- won't trickle down to the masses. It will enrich the regime and the companies close to the Administration. The Cuban people will need a space of freedom to have a share. The regime won't grant such space for fear of spread of democracy."
