New security arrangements in Syria and Lebanon needed

In this short interview with al Nahar two practical plans were raised to put on the table of talks over Syria and Lebanon, between the US and Russia. It is about early steps in security disengagements. This is not a policy, but only ideas. Foreign Minister Lavrov suggested that the US must recognize Hezbollah as an ally against ISIS. The US designation of Hezbollah as a terror group goes back to the attacks in Beirut in 1983 and the actions against US troops in Iraq, as well as other activities. For US-Russian possible joint measures to help stabilize in the region, Hezbollah needs to pull out from battlefields inside Syria and from areas in Lebanon where the population doesn't support the pro Iranian group.
