"On this November 25, 2010, I am remembering my first Thanksgiving experience in the Everglades, Florida. Twenty years later, I am thankful to this land, as millions before me did. I was an emigrant seeking liberty, joining a generous nation made of great hearts and hard working people. I am an American by choice, but also by destiny, and proud of it. And in me flows the blood of my mother country, never forgotten. Like many of us on this great land we're both.."
