"Al Qaeda is highly ideological and it looks at the final result. If the revolts are true democratic revolutions, it will attack the future democratic Governments elected by the voters. But if the elections produces an Islamist regime, they will infiltrate it and push it towards radicalism. In short these revolts could mean bad news long term for al Qaeda only if they end up becoming liberal democracies, and good news if they become Islamic states" (In Russian Language)
